Q&A
What was the first record you bought that made you realize that you wanted to be a DJ / Producer?
The first record i bought was Primal Scream – Come together on 7″
i don’t think there was one record that made me want to be a dj or producer
It just became a gradual thing were your buying records every week and eventually you want to play them out.
What record makes you most nostaligic?
Probably the Elvis version of Jealous Guy as i can remember being on holidays with my family when i was probably 6 years of age and my Dad would be playing Elvis… my Dad loves Elvis!
What is your favourite end of night record?
I don’t have a specific record that i finish with but it would probably be a Jazzfunk or Disco tune depends on the crowd too. . something like George Benson’s – The Ghetto which is featured in my mix.
Do you have a guilty pleasure record?
Mmmm i dont do guilty pleasures 🙂 Jennifer Rush – The power of Love.
What is your most treasured piece of vinyl?
I’ve a nice Marvin Gaye – “Whats going on” picture disc , its wasnt that expensive but its one i wouldnt want to lose.
Ive a lot of early Carl Craig and Ron Trent Preciption / Balance 12’s that are special to me.
